SoundBot SB510 review

SoundBot SB510 HD Water Resistant Bluetooth 3.0 Shower Speaker Review

soundbot review
The Sound Bot Shower Speakerphone is fun, inexpensive way to listen to one's favorite music in the shower or bath. For the money, this bluetooth speaker is reliable and sounds decent, and it attaches to the wall with a suction cup. It allows the user to play music for up to six hours while keeping the hands free for other tasks.

Now you don't have to quit enjoying your favorite music when you go to the beach, the pool, the shower room, bathtub, or kitchen. This handy little gadget goes with you. It looks sleek and stylish in your hand, and the buttons are placed for easy operation. The speakers face the back, and reflect the sound off the wall, for better sound quality. If the customer receives a defective device, customer service is ready to replace the item.

This product is water-resistant, not water-proof. Users must take care not to allow water to get into the speaker holes in the back, or in the tiny microphone hole in the front. Getting the electronics wet inside will damage the unit. Users also must not misuse the SoundBot Speakerphone by submerging it, or allowing water to flow over it. It must be placed in a location where water won't touch it: under the shower head, for example. In addition, when showering or bathing, the consumer should leave the bathroom door open to avoid the accumulation of large amounts of steam. The speaker may tend to be too quiet, and the speaker itself has no volume control – it has to be controlled by one's phone. The sound isn't great at maximum volume. There is no micro USB charger, but you have to carry around a separate charging cable. In addition, there is no web interface for warranty issues. If you are looking for a bluetooth speaker that isn't necessarily waterprrof, but delivers a betters sound, check out the Soundlink Mini Bluetooth Speaker as it is one of our best reviewed portable speakers.
